| This website is primarily for, by and about the descendants
of Daniel J. and Hannah Clifford who grew up in Miltown and Killorglin,
Co. Kerry.
Miriam Clifford and Dorothy Clifford interviewed Daniel during Christmas, 1957, to recreate his life and times first hand and to provide succeeding generations with a lasting history. The results were published in a booklet entitled "This is My Life" and was updated with Norma King's help in July 1968 and much of this website drew upon these publications. As noted by the publishers in Volume II: "It is the sincere hope of the publishers that the next generation start with DJC and go forward with Volume 1 of the DJC family." None could have imagined the technological wonders that lay ahead for this new generation and the ability to share this information so widely. We think the Miriam and Dotty meant Volume 3 and we hope this website stands as the electronic version.
Although the website is focused on Daniel and family, many other families
are woven into this tapestry and are welcome to information therein. The website is currently maintained by Andy Clifford, reachable below. |
